This week it's all about vellum at Crafty Meraki. For my project I decided to use a sheet of vellum to add a frosty look at my card.
First, I used one of the wreath from the Crafty Meraki EAP - Festive Flora Wreath and I cut it with its Coordinating Die. I cut it and kept the two extremities. I inked its sides with blue inks and I splattered blue and silver inks on it with a brush and water.
After that, I foiled my Green Garland Hot Foil Plate onto white cardstock with silver foil. I cut two 5.5" x 1.5" on my foiled panel and inked them with blue reactive ink. I splattered inks on it.
I cut a 5.5" x 4.5" rectangle onto vellum, splattered inks on it and glued my two foiled rectangle on it. I glued my panel onto a 5.5" x 4.5" white rectangle with foam pads. I matted and layered it with a slightly bigger blue rectangle.
I glued my two pieces of wreath on my panel and added a silver bow I made with the Take A Bow die set.
Finally, I added gems from the Limited Edition gems Dew Drop collection - Veronica
