Follow your heart by Guest Designer Lounon

Hello everyone !

Lounon here ! Today, I am sharing with you a card I made with the beautiful Penelope's Garden stamp set from the new Crafty Meraki release ! I also used the sentiment from the New Beginnings stamp set .

First, I stamped my floral image from the Penelope's Garden set with a no-line coloring inkpad into marker-friendly cardstock. Then, I used a stitched mini slimline die from the Pinkfresh Studio - Mini Slimline Essentials Bundle to frame it.



After that, I colored my image with my Copics. For the blue flower I used : B39 B37 B05 B02 B00, the teal one  : BG09 BG05 BG01 B00 and for the yellow flower : E15 E13 Y15 Y11. I used G28 G07 YG25 YG03 YG01 / YG67 YG63 YG11 + YG01  for the leaves and B04 (Illustrator) YR18 YR38 Y15 Y11 for the orange flowers.

Then, I used one of my circle die from the same Pinkfresh set to cut the center of my colored rectangle.

 

I stamped the sentiment from the New Beginnings stamp set on my circle.

 

After that, I cut two bigger rectangles into white and teal cardstocks and I matted and layered them. I glued my floral panel on top of it and my circle with foam pads.

 

Finally, I cut two thin stripes into Vellum, glued sequins on them and glued them on my card. I placed the glue behind the sequins for a cleaner look.
