Hello, again. It's Andrea back with you sharing yet another floral card. With the gorgeous, new dies from Crafty Meraki, it is so hard not to flower everything!
Today's card focuses on the beautiful Peony Artisan Flora Dies. I love peonies, and I absolutely adore the dimension and texture you get with these dies!
I began by diecutting the flower pieces from pale pink cardstock. To add more depth to the blooms, I blended them with varying degrees of Distress Oxides in Worn Lipstick, Festive Berries, and Aged Mahogany. I then assembled each bloom with a combination of thin 3D foam squares and liquid adhesive. I diecut the foliage pieces from two shades of green cardstock and assembled them with liquid adhesive.
To keep the focus on those gorgeous flowers, I went for a tone-on-tone background. I diecut the Craft-A-Round A2 Background Die from white cardstock and adhered it to a white cardbase. Next, I layered my peonies onto my card, attaching them with thin foam squares and liquid adhesive.
My sentiment is from the Gilded Greetings Hot Foil Plate (There is also a matching stamp set if you don't hot foil). I foiled the plate with Rose Gold Glimmer Foil and cut it out with the coordinating die. You get lots of sentiments with one pass, which is awesome! After popping up my sentiment with two layers of foam, I finished with some clear confetti.
