Hello everyone,
One of my most used products by Crafty Meraki are the Tag dies. I love their size as you can even use them for bookmarks, but if you want a smaller tag - use the technique of Partial diecutting and you can make them smaller, like my tags today.
I started with taking the cute girls from the Little Green thumbs stamp set and dies and colored them with Copics and diecut them with the coordinating dies. I took Congrats Slimline tag die and diecut the For the love of flowers paper pack cardstock with pretty papers for only for 1/3rd of my tag. For one tag I used the top part and for the other, I diecut the bottom scallop design.
Partial diecutting of pattern paper is a great way to use your scarps of pretty paper. If you are new to this technique, you can watch how to do this technique here. Here's a tip on deciding to color your images or choosing the patterned paper, whatever you do first - try to match the colors of the pattern paper to the colors you will choose for the stamped images. I took a pretty floral papers and adhered it on a white diecut tags, which were also diecut using partial diecutting technique.
