Cute colored fall CAS design with a foiling touch

This week at Crafty Meraki, it's all about CAS (Clean and Simple) design cards. When we think about this type of design, we often visualize a lot of white. But today, I decided to use brown colors instead while maintaining a clean design. The final touch ? Hot foiling !

For my card I used the adorable Crafty Meraki Just Quillin' Stamp set, the super pretty Take A Bow die set  and the beautiful Green Garland Hot Foil Plate.

First, I stamped my adorable hedgehog from the Just Quillin' Stamp set onto marker-friendly cardstock. I colored it with my Copics E44 E43 E41 E40 / E29 E27 E25 E23 E21. I fussy cut it.

After that, I cut two 3 3/8" x 4 5/8" (about 8.5 cm x 12.5 cm) double stitched rectangles onto sand and brown cardstocks. I foiled the brown one with my Green Garland Hot Foil Plate  and Rose Gold foil (Gemini Foilpress and Foil, 15 seconds at low temperature). I cut the top of it and glued it on my sand panel. I also cut a thin stripe onto dark brown cardstock and glued it at the intersection.

I stamped my sentiment with a brown inkpad and the little hearts with a watermark inkpad. I embossed them with Rose Gold embossing powder.

Then, I used one of the bow from the Take A Bow die set  twice : once onto dark brown cardstock and the other one from the foiled panel leftover. I fussy cut the middle part of the foiled bow and glued it on the dark brown. I glued my little hedgehog on top of it and glued my bow on the brown stripe.

Finally, I matted my panel with a slightly bigger dark brown rectangle.
