Cupcake birthday card by Anna

Hi everyone. 

I'm back today to share my latest card, featuring Be Your Own Kind Of Cupcake stamp set from Crafty Meraki January release.

I wanted this card to be simple and happy. I started with ink blending my background using distress oxide inks and added some water and gold metalic splatters. 

For the cupcake I used one of many cupcakes from Be Your Own Kind Of Cupcake stamp set. I coloured it with alcohol markers and cut out with coordinating dies. I also added highlights with white gel pen and glitter glaze to some of the leaves.  

I started assembling my card by adhering the cupcake to circle die cut with foam squares and then adhered the circle with more foam adhesive to card front. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set on a banner die cut using black ink and also added it to my card with foam tape.

I finished this card off with a Crafty Meraki Sparkle Magic Crystal gems and added to a slightly larger card base with foam tape. 

That's it! I love how this card turned out.
