Colored Cardstock Slimline Card

Happy Friday, friends! I'm back today with an all-pink card. I used the Peony Parade Stamp Set, coordinating die, Slimline Parisienne Para-Die, and the Meraki Moments Hello Para-dies.

I started with two shades of light pink colored cardstock. I used the Parisienne Slimeline die and cut one light-colored pink background. I stamped the peonies on another pink cardstock, which is one shade darker. I used gray ink to stamp. I used four Copic markers to color the flowers and leaves. For the peonies, I used R81 and R83. I used R83 for the darker-shaded areas. Use flicking motions to color the petals. For the leaves, I used N0 and N2. I used N2 for the shaded areas.

Next, I created the sentiment using the Hello Paradies middle and detail layers. I attached the top layer with double-sided tape. I used R83 to color "Hello" to add color to the sentiment.

I arranged the flowers to the bottom corner of the Parisienne background. To help keep the flowers intact before gluing, I placed mint tape over the top to pick up everything intact. I glued the bud, leaves, and largest flower with liquid glue. I used foam tape for the two flowers at the bottom of the card.

I added Hello at the top of the card and under the bud flower. Finally, I added Magical Iris gems to add sparkle. Sparkle is always needed ;) Do you like to stamp on colored cardstock? Let me know!
