Today I have an inspiration for you, which can actually be a set with another hoop I made earlier. However, this time I made the inspiration in tones that are more suitable for a boy. I thought it would be fun to duplicate the idea of a decoration for a child's room and modify the idea.
To start, I stamped the characters from the beautiful Roaring Good time stamp set with brown ink. When creating this inspiration, I only used stamps from this set. I wanted to show, that you can create wonderful compositions and sceneries with just one stamp set. The sets at Crafty Meraki are created in such a way that you will always find both characters and decorative elements to create scenery. This gives you a huge number of possibilities.
I colored the stamps with alcohol markers and finished with white gel pen. For the background, I used patterned papers, which I covered with fine vellum paper to dim the clarity of the colors a bit. I wanted the animals to be in the foreground and to focus attention on them.
After arranging the composition, I decided to spice it up a bit with some sequins and stars cut from holographic paper. Since the holographic paper I used shimmers with colors in cool tones, it perfectly matched the whole inspiration. At the very end, I used ribbon and lace as the finial of the hoop, which I tied at the top. These elements were also color-matched to the whole.
I hope I managed to inspire you. I also invite you to take a peek at my earlier inspiration with a hoop for a girl, which appeared on the blog some time ago.
Have a great day and lots of creativity!
