Chinese New Year Card by Angelique

Hello to all of you! 

This is my first DT blogpost.. so I'm superexcited to show you the card I've created with products from the new release. 

The Chinese New Year is to begin soon (1st of February). How lovely to create a card for that occasion, using the new stampset 'Year of the Tiger'.

First, I stamped the images and coloured them with markers in a Red/Golden colour combination, and cut them out. I then created the background panel with the gorgeous new A2 size die 'Dance with me', and glued that on to a red panel.

From the same Chinese red card, I cut 3 squares of about 1½" and used the new A2 die 'Wanderlust' to create the pattern. I matted them with golden glitter paper and glued the images on top.

These 3 squares are stuck to the white panel with a little bit of foamtape, to create some dimension.

I then glued it all to a white card base and outlined the red panel with a golden glitter marker. The sentiment is printed on a strip of white card and simply glued on to the card.
