Cheerful shaker birthday card by Lounon

Hello everyone ! Lounon here !
Nothing like an adorable dragon to cheer someone on their birthday !

Today, I am sharing with you a cute birthday shaker card I made with the adorable Flamin' Birthday stamp set

First, I stamped my images onto marker-friendly cardstock with a black inkpad. I colored them with my markers and fussy cut them. I used my Copics V09 V17 V15 V06 V04 V02 for the purple parts, E15 E13 Y26 Y15 Y11 for the yellow parts and RV69 RV09 RV06 RV04 RV02 for the pink parts.

After that, I used a rectangle scalloped die to cut a frame onto white cardstock. I also cut a plain same size rectangle. I inked the pieces with my purple water reactive inkpads. I splattered ink and water on them.

On the plain panel, I stamped the balloons stamp from the set twice. I wanted a subtle effect so I kept my stamping light. I also stamped my sentiment with a dark purple ink.

To make the shaker part, I die cut my scalloped frame 4 times onto thick cardstock ( you can also use foam pads, but lately I am enjoying using cereal packages to make my dimensional pieces : I don't waste these good cardboards, save foam and I find the final look "cleaner").
I glued a piece of acetate behind my inked frame and then the 4 other frames behind it.

On my front panel, I glued some of my presents on two layers. I cut out the parts sticking outside the frame. I also glued my dragon with foam pads.
I put sequins and some of the presents in the middle of the frame and closed my shaker part.
I matted and layered my shaker part with a 3.5" x 4 3/8" (9 cm x 11 cm) white rectangle.
Et voilà !

May the Craft be with you !
