Celebrate Rainbow Card by Brenda

Hello, fellow crafters!! I hope you’re all doing well!! Brenda here with a colorful rainbow card featuring one of the new stencils from the Meraki Motifs release!!

I started off by stamping the cupcake from the Be Your Own Kind of Cupcake Stamp Set with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored it with Copic markers, then cut it out with the Coordinating Die.

Next, I blended my favorite rainbow combination of Distress Oxide Inks onto a panel of white cardstock through the Shape Shifters Stencil. I used Wilted Violet, Mermaid Lagoon, Mowed Lawn, Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin and Picked Raspberry. Once dry, I trimmed the panel slightly and adhered it to an A2 panel of black cardstock, then to a white card base.

The sentiment was die-cut once from black glitter cardstock once and three times from heavyweight white cardstock using the Celebrate Tag Slimline Die Set. They were stacked and adhered together with liquid glue, then adhered to the front of the card. The cupcake was popped up with foam tape. Ebony Opal Gems finish off the card nicely and balance the right side of the card.

Graphic black and white with rainbow colors just gets me every time!!
