CAS Tags

Hi friends...Michelle here with a new inspiration post!  This week the design team is bringing you lots of inspiration for CAS cards.  I decided to make a few tags, using the Wishes Slimline Tag die.  Have you seen all of the fabulous tag dies that CM has to offer?  Now that the holiday season is fast upon us, tags are definitely needed but not just for the holiday season, all year round!   I wouldn't say that my CAS tags meet the traditional idea of CAS, where you would have lots of white space, but they are definitely simple to make. 

To start I took a pieces of watercolour paper and did a light wash using 2 different magical pigment powders.....one is a light green and the other is a pinkish coral. Some black paint splatters were added to the tags once they were dry. I diecut the tags from the Wishes Slimline Tag die and as well as 2 bows from the Take A Bow die set.  The word wishes from the tag die was then cut 2x from white cardstock, to bring in the white element for the CAS style. And the smaller sub-sentiment Best was diecut from black to add a bit of contrast. 

It was then all adhered to the tags and the bows were popped up using some foam squares to add a bit of dimension.  Glossy accents was added to the Wishes sentiment on the coral one, to add some shine, whereas the other was left as is.  The black Best was adhered in the middle of it and some gems from the Meraki Sparkle Magic Crystal in varying sizes were added.  A bit of twins was added to the top of each tag and that was it.

 And that's it!  These tags were fairly easy and quick to make (asides from the drying time for the glossy accents)....you could definitely mass produce them and in so many different colours too!
