Carolers of Festive Frolic stamp set

I suppose that thanks to the latest release from Crafty Meraki, you have already felt the holiday spirit for good. At my craftroom at the moment I'm working on fall and Halloween projects, but I'm slowly getting into the winter and Christmas mood.

Today I will present to you one of such projects. You have probably noticed many wonderful projects prepared by the Design Team. Juicy reds, vivid greens, glittering baubles. However, I would like to show you a slightly different side of Christmas projects. One that is a bit softer and not obvious. To that end, in my projects prepared for the new release, you will see a lot of pastel, bright and delicate colors. I created my EAP block sheets in such a style and decided to keep up such a vibe.
The first inspiration I made was a card with adorable carolers from the Festive Frolic set. When coloring, I focused mainly on shades of pink and purple combined with white elements. I also used the wreath stamp and gave it a slightly frosted look.

When I finished coloring, I realized that the color scheme perfectly matched the Luxe Plaid Pattern Paper embellishments from an earlier release.
I chose the most color-coordinated sheet and cut the base from it.
Once the base was cut out, I used scissors to add a bit of an aged effect to the paper and then inked the edges a bit.
The next step was to rip out a piece of the notes. I wanted to make a stronger reference to the singing of Christmas carols. Next, I cut out the vellum to gently cover the background. This gave a great fog effect.

I used "Fa La La" from the Festive Flora Wreath stamp set as the lettering. I created the lettering using hot embossing with silver powder.
Finally, I added some Meraki Sparkle Silver crystals and purple twine.
I hope you will like this inspiration and try to reach for pastel colors.
