Carol Ornament shaker card by Anna

Carol Ornament shaker card by Anna
Hello everyone!
Today's card is so far my favourite of all seasonal cards I have made this year.
It features the Carol Ornament Die from Crafty Meraki latest release. It is also a shaker card.
I started with a background. I masked off the card edges with washi tape and used Distress Oxide inks for simple ink blending. ( Aged Mahogany and Spun Sugar ). Then I added gold glitter snowflakes with Frosty Flakes stencil from The Greetery. While my card panel was drying, I did the shaker part. I die cut the Carol Ornament die from Altenew Silver Glitter cardstock, Kraft cardstock and two more from white paper. I stacked them up apart from the glitter die cut - I separated its outer part from the inner one and then added the snowflake only on top of my ornament.
To make the shaker part, I adhered clear acetate behind the die cut using clear glue, I added some blush sequins and closed it with narrow foam tape and white solid die cut from the set.
My next step was to stamp the sentiment from the Pretty Poinsettias stamp set from MFT with black ink. I adhered the ornament on to my background with foam squares and added few silver jewels from Pinkfresh Studio.
Lastly I added ribbon bow on top and adhered my card panel on to a slightly lager card base.
That's it! I am so in love with this card!
See you next Friday.
Anna
