Cards for dads by Sindhu

Hi everyone! 

Sindhu here. Today I have a couple of simple but sweet cards to share with you all. With Father's Day fast approaching, I decided to make a couple of cards especially with my husband in mind.

These are pretty straight forward cards. So, like me, if you love colouring, you can just stamp them on white card panels and color them whenever you find time. 

 I started by cutting down two white cardstock panels to 4x5.25". I then stamped the adorable images from My Hero stamp set and stamped the sentiments on both of them. 

I used Copic markers to colour the images. 

Blues- B04, B01, B000, Yellows, Y19, Y21, Teals- BG78, BG75, BG72, Purples- V15, V12, V01, Greys- W3, W1, W0, Skin- E13, E21, E00, Hair- E33, E31.

Then I added the shadows to 'ground' the images. 

Here is my second card-

I finished the card with gluing the coloured panels on sky blue card bases. 

Tip- when you keep the cards as sime as these, small details like adding shadows makes a lot of difference.
