Butterfly Garden Meraki Motifs by Sweta

Have you checked out all the fantastic new products from the Crafty Meraki release? There have been two this month in celebration of Crafty Meraki turning 2!! And to celebrate there are fun giveaways planned and lots of inspiration to go with the products on Instagram, Facebook and Youtube. 

Diving right into the newest release, I’m sharing a card featuring Meraki Motif stencils called Butterfly Garden. I’ve been wanting to use my Distress Embossing glazes for a while and I thought the new stencil was perfect for that. 

I prepped the card panel with anti-static powder and laid the stencil over the top. To use the embossing glaze, I took the clear Versamark ink pad and swiped it over the stencil covering the full area of the panel. 

Next, I removed the stencil and sprinkled the Speckled Egg embossing glaze powder over the panel, removed the excess and heat set it. 

In the next step, I ink blended the panel with Distress Oxide inks in shade of yellow and pink. For the sentiments I choose the ones from Love portion for their smaller size as I wanted to use a few of them on the card. I adhered the panel to the card base before adding just a few sparkles - Celeste Green to finish the card.
