Hello everyone!
I hope you are all doing great. It is Crafty Meraki's birthday month and I decided it would be fitting to share a birthday card. If you missed the news, new #merakiversary release will be available for purchase on 16th May. Come back after a few hours for sneak peeks Day 2.
I started by die cutting the 'Birthday' and 'wishes' from white cardstock and ink blended them with Distress Oxide inks- Kitsch Flamingo, Saltwater Taffy and a little bit of Crackling Campfire.
I also blended inks on a 6x6 white glitter paper and die cut the pretty florals from it. This way I could get them in whatever colour I wanted and also had I tried blending inks on them after die cutting, there was a risk of tearing them as the die cuts were delicate.
I die cut the rounded rectangle from white cardstock and splattered inks on it. Then, I adhered the die cut words. Behind 'wishes', I added a 'shadow' beneath it and finally adhered the die cut flowers.
That finishes my card for today. I hope you like it.
