Being in Love by Sweta

Hello crafty friends! 

Today I have a cute card to share with you using the Love Story stamps and dies from the #merakihugs release. I am creating a mini slim line card with the You are my Sunshine background die. 

I started by creating ink blended mini slim size panel with Picked Raspberry and Spun sugar keeping the darker of the two colors towards the center and lighter color to the outer edge. Once this panel was die-cut using the sunshine die, I went back and added a little more of the picked raspberry to the semi-circle in the middle. 

Next, I ink blended some Broken china distress ink straight on to the card base. While these were drying I inked up the cute stamps in dark brown ink to give this card a little softer look. I wanted to keep the overall look of this card pink, blue and brown so I colored all the images in those shades with various copic makers. Once done, I used co-ordinating dies to cut them out. I also cut out the boy-girl image twice more so that I could stack them up for additional dimension. 

For assembling this card, I glued the sunshine panel onto the blue blended card base and adhered all the little images with liquid glue over the top. Finally I added some liquid sparkle over the heart and other images including the sentiment strip. The sparkle from the Magical Iris gems was a perfect match for this card and I had to use a few !! 

Do you use other colors to ink up the images or is black your go to color? I think I will incorporate a little more of this look in my cards in the future :)
