Happy Saturday crafty friends and happy to be back on the blog today with a pretty floral card!
Start with a white card base and glue down a layer on top with one of the floral patterns in the gorgeous Watercolor whimsy paper pack
Next step is to die cut from a soft pink card stock the Speckled Canopy Background Die and glue another one of the Watercolor whimsy paper pack sheets to the back. (I actually used up scraps left over from other cards so I wouldn't waste the beautiful paper on such a a small detail)
Once the background paper is glued on add dimensional tape and attach to your card base.
I then coloured in copics some of the florals from the You Inspire Me Stamp Set and fussy cut each one. There is a coordinating die if fussy cutting is not something you enjoy.
I played around with the layout making 3 small clusters of the florals and once I was happy with the placement I added a piece of dimensional tape to the back of the clusters and snipped a small piece of thin string to attach behind each one.
After the string was attached I added liquid glue (Art Glitter Glue) to the back of the string on the dimensional tape for extra adhesion and attached to my card.
I also on the 2 clusters added dimensional tape to the top flower to create even more dimension.
I added a sentiment and angled the one end. I backed it on the matching soft pink card stock and added dimensional tape and attached to my card.
I finished with a few small florals from the You Inspire Me Stamp Set and added them around the card with more dimensional tape.
A few randomly placed nuvo drops completed my card.
Crafty Hugs,
Allie
