Autumn ravens from "Sweet Tweets" stamps

Autumn ravens from "Sweet Tweets" stamps

Hi everyone!

This week's inspiration theme is stamps. In my works, as you may have noticed I use stamps every time. However, this time I wanted to emphasize the use of them even more. I decided to give a completely new look to the stamp sets you are familiar with. I also wanted to create a scenery.

To start with, I reached for the "Sweet Tweets" set and decided to give it a slightly different look. Surely you associate these cute birds with spring-summer inspirations full of color and flowers. This time, however, I will show them to you from a completely different side. Who said you can't customize the stamps to your liking? In fact, all the magic happens the moment you start applying colors. By using different colors, I transformed the cute birds into autumn ravens and gave the whole card an autumn look.

As always, I started by preparing the stamps and coloring them and adding accents with white gel pen.
Then I prepared the background by inking it with two colors of Distress Oxide inks. To add a little variety to the background, I added some splashes.

To make the border of the card, I was helped by the "3 Room Studio Mini Slimeline" die-cutter.
To create the scenery, I used stamps from such sets as:
"Sweet Tweets"
"Just quillin"
"To-Tail-Ly Awesome"
"Owl Yours"
"Tou The Tropics".

Once all the stamps were colored, I moved on to arranging the composition. I must admit that this time it took me a very long time, because I could not decide on the arrangement of the elements. Fortunately, everything worked out and I moved on to gluing.
When creating such compositions, it is worth remembering that 3d foam tape and any spacer cubes will give additional depth to our work and make it even more interesting to the eye.
I hope you enjoyed my inspiration. I encourage you to experiment with stamps.

I wish you a lot of creativity
Beata
