Hey Crafty Meraki friends, have you seen there is a new release??? We are celebrating Crafty Meraki's 4th birthday with an absolutely fabulous #merakiversary new release, filled with Hot Foil Plates, Cover Plates, co-ordinating Hot Foil and Cover Plates and so much more! Today it's Michelle made.by.michi here and I'm back with a new project that will be perfect to help celebrate the new release!
For my project today I used the Fern Lattice Background A2 die and did some embossing with it. To do this, I switched out the bottom plastic plate in my diecutting sandwich, for a silicone mat. So I had the platform, silicone mat, white cardstock cut to 4.25x5.5", coverplate die with the cutting side of it against the paper and then the top plastic plate.I did some light blue ink blending to add a touch of colour to it.
Now when I first saw the new Artisan Flora Add On Terrarium Die, not only did I see it as a terrarium as it is intended, but I also saw a gem...a diamond in fact! So of course I had to use it for this week, to help celebrate the new release!
I diecut the terrarium 2x. Once from black cardstock and the 2nd from a piece of white glitter cardstock, because what is a diamond if it doesn't sparkle!?!! I added the black diecut outline to the embossed background and then added in all the pieces from the glitter diecut one, not using the outline piece of the glitter diecut.
The sentiment was added from the Gilded Greetings EAP and cut using the coordinating die and a bit more sparkle was added with the Meraki Sparkle Magical Iris gems.
