Easy Pattern Mixing

Hey Crafty Meraki friends....Michelle back with you today showing how easy it is to mix your pattern papers.  This week the design team has been tasked with putting the focus on pattern papers.  Crafty Meraki has some gorgeous pattern paper packs, so this would be pretty easy to do!  Let's get started, shall we!

I wanted to create using only pattern paper and of course 1 small stamp for the sentiment.  I must admit that I did turn to google for inspiration, as I wanted to see all of the creative ways there is out there to use pattern paper and I stumbled upon this style.  I thought this was perfect for showcasing all of the gorgeous patterns!

To start I stamped the sentiment from the Bold and Beautiful Stamp Set  and stamped it on the bottom of my trimmed 4x5.25" white cardstock, so I know how far down to add my paper strips.  I used the Watercolor Whimsy Paper Pack and cut 1/2" strips from all of the patterns in it.  

I estimated where the center of the  paper would be and added my first strip starting on the right side.  From there I butted the next strip against it and continued adding more until I reached the top.  I left a bit of space in between each strip.  There were all added using liquid adhesive.  A few of the Meraki Sparkle Clear Gems were added and it was all adhered to a light pink mat and then added to the A2 cardbase. 

This is a great way to showcase and use all of the pattern papers.  Or you could even cover the entirety of the white cardstock in this pattern....I may do that soon!  If you have pattern paper packs sitting around waiting to be used, then this is your sign and a great way to use them.  And because they all come from the same paper pack, you know that they will coordinate perfectly!
